Short review of our new APPLE 13″ iPad Air (2024) with Magic Keyboard and Pencil Pro.
Red Arrow: Apple Pencil Pro with Heptic Custom Engine
Yellow Arrow: Apple Magic Keyboard

Apart from the priceÂ
the APPLE 13″ iPad Air (2024) with Magic Keyboard and Pencil Pro is a beautiful piece of equipment. The APPLE 13″ iPad Air (2024) has a handy Touch ID Button that is also the Power button.
The Apple Pencil Pro can be stored on the top of the iPad Air (2024) which is held in position magnetically and also whilst in this position the Pencil Pro will be charged.
The Apple Pencil Pro Heptic engine provides precise feedback that you can feel. When you squeeze or double‑tap, you’ll feel a light pulse confirming the action.
The Apple Magic Keyboard has its own USB charge port and magnetically attaches itself to the iPad. The Magic Keyboard also uses a floating cantilever design to smoothly adjusts to multiple screen viewing angles.

July 25, 2024 at 4:24 pm #32916The APPLE 13″ iPad Air (2024) does not support Face ID (which we knew but still annoying) and I have found that with this iPad Air (2024) there is no location to store the Apple Pencil Pro safely/securely when the Magic Keyboard is in its closed position.

July 5, 2025 at 8:15 pm #38472How’s the 13″ compared tot he 11″? Much heavier/awkward to hold if sitting using it on its own without a keyboard/pen?
Considering upgrading parents one for xmas maybe, can’t decide whether to stick to 11″ or go for 13″
Thanks

July 5, 2025 at 8:39 pm #38473love our APPLE 13″ iPad Air (2024) with Magic Keyboard and Pencil Pro, battery life is great and easily get a day usage with loads to spare. alas it is a little on the chunky side and weighs a lot considering its size, only other negative is 60Hz Display: It’s not as smooth as the 120Hz ProMotion screen on the iPad Pro and you do notice this when Web and app scrolling can be jittery but video streaming seems to be ok
.Not a gaming tablet but great for most daily tasks etc, and a fair price given its apple and M2 processor.
