So was just looking at heat pumps generally and noticed that EBAC are to launch a range of Heat Pumps for the British market place.

Ebac, well know for their brands of Washing machines and dehumidifiers and good to see they are expanding there range.

Alas no details as to whether these heat pumps will be manufactured in the UK.

Have seen a couple of ads for Ebac Air Source Heat Pump 9kW Compact Suitable For Up to 5 Bedrooms, but not sure if they are genuine ?

Are they any good? I’m not sure sure about them tbh not to mention them having to be fitted and routed into the house etc, I’m more tempted to go the hydrogen route as it can use the existing gas pipes so seems a much less simpler solution? Not sure when Hydrogen will be available, I believe they doing some testing in 1 or 2 parts of the England.  I see boilers are already being sold with “hydrogen ready” on them, I believe they require only 3 parts to be altered to work on hydrogen once you switch from gas and cost isn’t too bad approx. £150 lasty I knew.
