Given the AMD 5000 series APUs come out over the Xmas period, it is interesting to see how they rate against the Intel i9 CORE I9-10900K 3.7GHZ (COMET LAKE) and similar.

January 17, 2021 at 7:53 pm #11446Forbess – ran a test at the back end of 2020 and concluded that AMD has finally produced a series of chipsets which has taken AMD four generations of Ryzen CPUs and three years, but it’s finally done it. It has beaten or matched Intel in its last stronghold of games and is utterly dominant everywhere else with devastating gains across the board compared to Zen 2 CPUs. In some instances, the improvements are so vast that Zen 3 CPUs are snapping at the heels of Zen 2 CPUs with higher core counts in content creation, and have cemented AMD as the dominant force in desktop content creation. Nothing Intel has for similar prices comes close and gamers will now delight in the fact that they can consider AMD on par or even faster in some titles.
