Microsoft has officially integrated Claude Sonnet 4 and Opus 4.1 into its Copilot marking a major shift toward a multi-model AI future. Previously reliant on OpenAI’s GPT models, Copilot now lets users toggle between Claude and GPT for tasks like research, automation, and custom agent creation.
What’s New
- Claude Opus 4.1: Ideal for deep reasoning and multi-step analysis.
- Claude Sonnet 4: Balanced speed and intelligence, great for workflow automation.
- Model Switching: A “Try Claude” button now appears in Copilot Studio , allowing users to test Anthropic’s models side-by-side with GPT.
