Fritz!OS 8 is selective about browsers used to access the UI

I am reading reports that the new Fritz!OS 8 and accessing the UI is a struggle for some (older) browsers.

I know that the latest release of  Brave  is compatible and Chrome, Firefox, Edge work I believe.

Safari (current version) on iPad shows weird characters when scrolling.
