To add, Yes nice to have Gig speeds across LAN only, but run the risk of unreliability as most routers like Fritz!box, ASUS etc. are for consumers and small scale. hence why cheap and sometimes unreliable.
Maybe try Powerline adaptors and see if this helps and just make sure you purchase then from somewhere where they can be easily returnable
