Yes, basically all my wired connections (PC, TV, Apple TV box etc) are all connected to the HP 18-10G switch. Hence my idea to put 2 ports in VLAN2 and then hope router would route between the 2 but seems now.
Can you change the IP address on the modem port? I didn’t see any info on how to do this.
So i presume I leave port 1 modem as default IP, plug into router and change the modem port 2 to be same IP range as rest of my network (192.168.1.x) and then can access it ok? Meaning leave HP 18-10 in existing setup (no VLAN2 192.168.2.x) needed.
