Thanks both, yes – so far, modem says: system uptime almost 14hrs so far.Β  IS that how long the modem has been connected or just how long it has been on and it may well of dropped and re-connected?

Just about to look at the firmware and see how old my existing one is and then maybe download it and see how it goes.

Unfortunately, I’ll how to power off the modem later tonight as I need to move the power sockets about as some of the cables are a bit close to other power plugs so going to move them around a bit so unfortunately means i need to move the modem one, which i was hoping to avoid to save it dropping and re-connecting again but it will only be off for about 1 minute max.Β  It’s all to do with the awkward shape of the power cables, some of them have a big square/oblong power, not just the standard kettle lead type and unfortunately this prevents me using some of the sockets I have due to them blocking me plugging other cables in so going to try move them around to make it easier.

Plus I’m going to finally label them all so I know what plug goes to what as bit of a mind field atm with lots of cables as I’ve got them all in the same place as my network switch, bt socket, nas box etc… cables galore :)

Also want to see if any known issues with newer firmware first to ensure all is ok and yes, will take a look at how I backup existing config.

FYI – Memory usage is still 45% and I’ve only added a port forwarding rule since yesterday and also named some of the devices so i can tell what they are, just got 1 left to track down as not easily identifiable atm.Β  I think i know what it is but its connected wirelessly to a AP which is wired back to switch so its showing as wired but it’s actually not :)
