The FRITZ!Box 4690Β is the first 10-GBit/sΒ WANΒ router byΒ AVM, capable of routing a 10-GBit FiberΒ ONT. It provides a 10-GBit/sΒ WANΒ port,and one 10-GBit/s plus three 2,5-GBit/sΒ LANΒ ports, which renders it the highest equipped model so far. Wi-Fi 7 is supported with 5760 MBit/s in the 5 GHz band, and Wi-Fi 6 with 1200 MBit/s in the 2,4 GHz band.

I cannot find as yet whether the FRITZ!Box 4690 will be available as a International Version which means it will be suitable for UK language / market and when it will be available ?

All languages and countries will be supported, even if sold only in Germany.
Firmware doesnt make any differences between DE and international versions.
But first it has to be published and sold.

Great news, if or when the FRITZ!Box 4690 is released hopefully it will have the option for UK mains power adaptor / plug included ?

When it is sold in UK it will or must have UK-plug, otherwise as usual, if you order from outside, you will get small EU-plug.

I haven’t purchased a new AVM Fritz!box for a while, AVM used to sell Fritz!Box which if labelled INTERNATIONAL version (model) also included a UK plug adaptor, does AVM still sell new Fritz!Boxs with INTERNATIONAL version ?

Average power is only 5-7 13-14W (has been corrected on AVM-website).

Thats better then everything else I know with lot of CPU power.

Very respectable power usage, my old Fritz!box 3490 had an “energy-saving mode” which also helped in reducing power usage and hopefully this is included with the new Fritz!box 4690.

Not usefull, except you want to run WLAN only on 2,4MHz and LAN only with 100MB/s (this would do green mode).
You cant really save any more (additional) power beside this already very efficient layout.
