I have changed the Forum color from Orange to Blue, just as a trial and would be good to see if there are any preferences in color or views etc ?

Ideally looking for a modern clean look but still easy on the eyes.

Personally, not keen on the blue as a very ‘male’ colour.

Quiet like the blue with white text on the small headings on the right like “latest member”, “members online” etc but not sure about the blue banner at the top, maybe the black text uktechhub.com needs to be a different colour?

Thanks all, Yes the Blue Banner is very overpowering in my opinion.

May try going back to the original design (colours) and soften some of the coloured areas a little

So have changed partially back to the original layout and adjusted the colour formats etc.

As always, opinions most welcomed.

 

Note: I have also re-added the login dialogue box to the bottom of every topic.

So I got a little bored of the blue colours relating to the forum rows, so have changed them to a Grey shade, just to see if the new colour adds some distinction etc.

Understood and good point for consideration

May go back to the original Orange tones, as this now seems both bright and eye catching, (I must have to much time on my hands)

I have introduced a Dark Mode toggle switch in the Main Forum header to better enable users whom are more sensitive to brighter images.

Thoughts as always most appreciated and work in progress in this area and may change as I try different tools, as always

Opted for a different Plugin to achieve the Dark / Light mode options, hopefully more usable for those that may need or like to try this new feature at @UKTechHub

Note: just need to speed up the page loading when dark mode is enabled which may involve removing the background image of the world
