DrayTek has officially released firmware version 3.9.9.11 BT for the Vigor 2862 series of routers and modem-routers. This is a stable, non-beta update that includes important enhancements and updated modem code — particularly beneficial for BT/Openreach and other UK DSL lines.

What’s New in 3.9.9.11 BT:

• Updated DSL modem code for improved VDSL stability and performance — especially on BT (British Telecom) and Openreach lines.

• General performance and stability optimisations.

• Security patches and backend enhancements.

•  Compatibility tweaks for certain ISPs and DSLAMs (no manual tuning needed for most users).

 

Note: This BT-specific build is designed to work best with UK broadband networks, including Plusnet, TalkTalk, and Zen Internet. The updated modem firmware ensures greater line stability, lower error rates, and improved sync in marginal DSL areas.
