No matter the case, a CPU temperature should play around 70-80 degrees celsius when gaming. When the computer is doing small processes or in an idle state, it should be around 45 degrees celsius to a little over 60 degrees celsius at most.
Some CPU boards claim not to need CPU fans such as the ASUS ranges, where as MSI and Gigabyte tend to include CPU fans by default.
Overclocking temperatures could in theory go as high asΒ 90Β°CΒ while still being ‘safe’, and the max temperature for many CPUs is listed in theΒ 105-110Β°CΒ range. But for long-term use, you’re much better off keeping things belowΒ 80Β°CΒ in general and only pushing up toΒ 85Β°CΒ at the most.
