    Appears Microsoft is to stop Wordpad in a future release..

    That is bad news, I love using wordpad for quick note taking etc.

    Shame there is no way of saving this little gem for future use, or is there ?

    Interesting, my Windows 11 Dell laptop has the following path to my Wordpad.exe file

    “%ProgramFiles%\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe”

    I have copied wordpad.exe to another drive path and when the application is run, a message appears to state ‘unable to create new document’.

    More investigation required I thing
