Hi,
Just had a thought, I’m on a different Forum and you can be a member for free or you can subscribe for a nominal fee each year (ÂŁ10 and its never gone up) and you get access to other parts of the forum which free members don’t get.
I was was wondering if you had thought of this at all, for example, if was a paid member you wouldn’t see adverts, get access to a members only board for members to chats which you didn’t want free members to see? Maybe even allow sending a message directly to a member as a PM? if forum allowed that.
Just a thought, not sure if any mileage in it but just thinking may help towards your hosting/running costs?

Thank you for the thought, an interesting concept especially as hosting fees, licensing is painful at the best of times and adds can be annoying.
But in reality, Forums such as this one are at their best when accessible by everyone, so everyone benefits.
