For a while the ADV Search function on the forum has not worked correctly, I was using GD Power Search for bbPress but this has not been updated for a while so have no changed this for a more pictorial search option hopefully.
Still work in progress but hopefully will be fit for purpose when I have finished customisation.
FYI.
If the Search icon is selected then a traditional text only search listing is shown.
Search order is Prioritised as Forums / Topics / Replies and is not to complicated to use I believe.

So finished configuring UKTechHub’s new ‘search’ function, it is not the traditional forum search layout and is a little more modern in presentation, I have added the option that the search Text fonts (keyword) is highlighted in RED in Search results.
Searches are presented as a drop-down list or if you select the search icon the result are presented on a full page.
This search feature also works via Mobile devices.
Colours are always tricky and happy to take suggestions, but may ignore them

Forum at all (not explicitly search function) is much slower now (for me) than before all your changes.
Maybe there is still some issue.

Is the slowness the main forum page or all forum pages ?

Thank you, I have also noticed this for the last week or so for the Main Forum page as below.
All the other sub-forums and pages seem to load quickly and have added this to my list of issues
