DrayTek has officially rolled out Firmware v5.4.1 for the newly released Vigor 2928 series on April 8, 2026, bringing improved stability, enhanced security, and several refinements aimed at boosting overall router performance.

New Features

• Added system optimizations for the new Vigor 2928 hardware platform.
• Enhanced WAN load‑balancing logic for improved performance under heavy traffic.
• Introduced additional VPN compatibility improvements for third‑party clients.

Improvements

• Improved overall system stability during high‑throughput sessions.
• Refined DHCP handling to reduce rare cases of delayed IP assignment.
