So over the Xmas break my Sons SanDisk SSD PLUS 1 TB Sata III’ disk is in and working really well, my Son loves the quick boot up times and how quickly the apps now start etc.
Only real moan (and it is a biggy) is that the Sandisk SSD was supposed to come with a cloning software (via download) and even though the link on the Sandisk App points to Acronis – the link neither worked and we could not find online any free tools by Acronis for cloning.
Luckily – I have used Macrium Reflect 7 previously and as always it cloned beautifully and created / copied the
MBR and the other various partitions including the boot partition. 
The SSD drive swapped straight over from the original Toshiba HDD with no adjustment to the BIOS needed.
