The DC Jack socket failure was my fault, A few times I accidentally got the AC cable trapped in my chair and when I moved from chair the trapped AC cable connector/Jack damaged the DC plug socket in laptop (got caught) 
An easy repair and I was lucky the DC Jack Socket was easy to get at (no motherboard removal)
