Shame Sony stopped producing laptops a few years back, as they where my go to device manufacture, which is why I switched to Dell.
Even Sheldon (Big Bang Theory) rocked his Dell Alienware M17x Nebula Red Laptop back in the day 
Kidding aside, Dells XPS range always rate well so I am surprised you have had such a poor experience.
