All sounds reasonable and if you are not limited by wifi range then the cheapest option would be to utilise your Sky Q set top box  – If so, these act as a WiFi AP when connected to the Sky Q router via WPS.

Should save you having to buy a separate AP and share the load.

Alas if there are any Gamer’s (call of duty) etc. on you LAN, then the above may not be ideal
