Had a little look at other options for wireless thermostat etc. Honeywell models seems to rate well, I noticed on Screwfix the Honeywell Home TR6-HW which seems rather fancy and can be controlled via an APP ?
Not sure if Honeywell app only manages schedules and not room temp also ?,
