it could help, the DSL-N16 is an old model and I seem to remember back in the day, on some ISP, the default 30a profile caused issues in certain countries exchanges/DSLAM, give it a try?
I tried it but it didn’t help.
Is QoS enabled? if so, disable and see ?
It is disabled.
Go to wan> internet connection> edit
You will find a regulation that says
additional pppd options
Get the command
lcp-echo-interval 0
If 0 does not connect to your dslam try instead 0, 30, 40, 60 but first 0
I believe that even if this method does not help, it may help reduce your problem
I did it and it connected to the DSLAM quickly. I had the feeling that the WAN connection kept up for some seconds more, but nothing else. The result was the same, WAN connection dropped and before that happened I was losing packets all the time. Here’s a screenshot:
The weirdest part is that this is happening only under Windows for any reason, I don’t get it…
