I’m considering signing up to the Huge energy App – it looks a pretty good interface and it seems to allow you to enter tariff info etc so as my IHD has now stopped working, it just fails to boot up and when it was it was always showing visual high usage on the graphic even though actual usage looked ok I believe, this might be a intermediate solution until such time as I switch gas to smart meter and potentially get a new IHD to show both but the Huge app has advantage that I can check it when I’m not home. Not in a major hurry to sort the gas out as IF there was ever a issue, meter is outside so would be minimal disturbance etc would only be a issue in winter if it packed up and no heating etc but meter isn’t that old so not anticipating that.
Only concern is providing card info for them to verify it is my meter etc. I can use some code of the IHD but as that’s not working, I’m not sure what use that would be.
Also my provider has just changed my DD, I thought it said from August but appears to have been from July so my DD has gone down quiet a bit, so pleased with that, although time will tell if they have set it too low lol.
