Damn is it really 2025 for you? If so yeah not much you can do. Definitely no altnets building soon via https://bidb.uk/ ?

I’m still thinking about who I should go with. I quite like TalkTalk as another choice. Might be a refreshing change to have a non PPPoE provider and it will allow more flexibility in router choice. I really want to try out the non 6 series of Eero as I heard they are really great. Couldn’t do that since the older Eero generation doesn’t support PPPoE.

It’s so complex right now. I’m in contact with BT for trials of their latest broadband speeds and router but apparently their whole system is having ordering problems which won’t be fixed for afew weeks so it’s not even started. I either get that which should be good or I wait till Netomnia builds in my area which is apparently mid December I could get it. That means YouFibre 1Gbps symmetric for ÂŁ27.99 but then I don’t trust them as much to solve problems. Plus BT has allowed me to just download whatever I have wanted with TB per month and they have never said anything. I doubt I’d have that luxury on YouFibre.

There’s also the small thing of Black Friday being pretty close (most companies start around the start of November) so that’s another plus on me waiting to see.
