Yes, I’m on the fence with it tbh – one one hand IF it does find my email addresses and pswds have been leaked and they can get them removed then perfect, might stop any potential issues down the line and get my details removed so not still out there somewhere BUT if it doesn’t find they have been then wasn’t a need to use it.  A lot of pswds now I’ve changed due to pswd manager but even though they would still have my email which ideally I’d sooner remove to stop unwanted emails etc.

Hence why I’m kind of trying to justify it by considering doing it for 1 year only just to effectively get my info removed from wherever it may be held.

Incidentally, I got a email yesterday funnily enough from Samsung to say they had cybersecurity incident on 13th Nov 2023 that affected my details as I bought a product between 1st July 2019 – 30 June 2020 ( over 3 years ago).  Apparently pswd or financial info not impacted.

No action needed by me other than to be on lookout of unexpected emails asking for info etc.
