In essence, you ideally are looking for Fastpath both upstream and downstream and increasing SNR could help, I thought your SNR was already 5 or 6 so any increase on this will reduce synch speeds so less bandwidth and 5 or 6 is good already for stability etc. What is your ping to http://www.bbc.co.uk ? Is you SNR 5 ? (I forget)
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 15ms, Maximum = 25ms, Average = 19ms SNR 6
A slow round trip ping, I remember reading some time ago about a DrayTek 130 owner whom had a slow line and used the below code to increase synch speed etc
vdsl snr -50
Basically this reduces line SNR value, maybe worth a try and if to many DSL disconnects, revert back?
If no joy then to get back type: vdsl snr 50
