There is also the Asus rt-ax88u if you are looking at Routers, but this only benefits from a more improved wifi solution, given you do not plan to use wifi in your home (most odd) then this is a nice to have rather than offering an established router model with good firmware.
If you do opt for the DrayTeK 130 modem, then this is just a plug and play unit and no need for any additional configuration is needed. They work well for both ADSL and VDSL connection and is an approved device by BT for use on there connections (BT SIN498)
