So I loaded Fritz!Box 3490 firmware version 07.01 yesterday and overnight the Fritz!Box re synched with exchange/dlsam/cab and all is back to how it was before, 55 Mbps Downstream and 10 Mbps Upstream (capped service).
All G.inp / Fastpath remains the same so it does appear from my limited testing that the latest Fritz!Box 3490 (07.12) has both IPv6 for UK /56 issues and certain DSL synch problems also .
Most unusual for AVM as they usually are very good ;-(
