At my place, I have an LG OLED TV, LG Sound bar and associated speakers and Xbox 1 X and Sky Q

SKy Q and Xbox connect to TV via HDMI and everything else including another hi-fy system connects to sound bar via Bluetooth ;-)

A lot of music / media we run just via our phones / laptops straight to Soundbar also via wifi/Bluetooth,  TV also has a dedicated wifi card (SSID) to connect straight to it via wifi/Bluetooth.

Edit: If you do not decide to go wireless, then this splitter is a tad expensive but should do the job as it has the auto sense option which is very convenient.

4K Vertex 2 18Gbps

or slightly cheaper option below both Splitters supports 4K at 60hz one has a remote and other has a manual switch so maybe worth the initial small investment.

or, Apple TV 4K > Splitter > with one 4K HDR HDMI output going direct to Panasonic TV HDMI 1 HDR input and the other splitter HDMI output going into the Panasonic Soundbar. should do the trick but as you have realised, your Soundbar does not support HDR10+ or Dolby Vision, so you are left with HDMI ARC which is on newer TV (except your TV) ‘ etc. etc. for Dolby Atmos. (I think similar to what you detailed originally)

You have been unlucky with your choices ;-)

Alas your TV does not have HDMI ARC, then you are again stuck with just high quality HDMI or selling your Soundbar and buying an decent Sony Soundbar etc.

Hopefully a few ideas to approach the challenge from  different angles, and on a budget, wireless is still my preferred option if I was doing this, asI do hate wires looping every where and making place look untidy  – but if sound quality is everything, then a new premium soundbar seems to be your best option ;-)
