The Comtrend AR5307U also has a MediaTeK chipset, so looks like in your part of the world, for highest upload synch speed (Annex M) , MediaTeK chipset suits your needs best.
I personnaly use Lantiq based DSL chipset, but they, like Broadcom, will not synch as at a higher rate compared to MediaTeK, but are very stable.
Looks like DSL-AC56 is a wise upgrade, for you
