I’ve recently introduced the QUIC.cloud CDN to our forum to improve performance for everyone, especially members visiting from further away or overseas.
What does this mean for you?
A CDN (Content Delivery Network) stores copies of our site on servers around the world. When you visit the forum, content is delivered from the server closest to your location rather than from a single UK-based server. The benefits:
- ⚡ Faster page load times, particularly for international users
- 🌍 Improved performance for members browsing from abroad
- 🔄 Reduced lag when viewing topics and replies
- 🛡️ More reliable access during busy periods
For UK users, you may not notice a huge difference day-to-day, but for members further afield, this should make the forum feel much quicker and more responsive.
I am looking at other options including Image and Page optimization but for now trying to ensure CDN is stable and offering value.
As always, if you notice anything unusual or have feedback, feel free to let us know.

No further approvements necessary now from my perspective.

- Your login can now stay active (logged in) for up to 90 days and this should make it easier to stay signed in on your regular devices.
- Nothing else about your account or privacy has changed and I will update the Cookie policy over the next couple of days to capture this minor change.
Thank you @Grisu for you positive guidance
