The issue is that my old dishwasher Siemens Lady 150 doesn’t wash (meaning it is not sprinkling water).
I am trying to troubleshoot what component failed
Observations
- the bottom is filled with water but I am not sure however, if it’s getting enough water or not. The resistance metals are not covered by water
- I tried adding more water manually but nothing changed
- Draining works fine
- I took the motor off, looks fine and propeller spins freely
- No obvious clogging
Is the motor that does the draining the same as the one that does the circulation? I am getting a polymeter to check the components tomorrow.
From the pictures I have access to
- water intake
- Motor
- there are 2 things on the left, not sure what they do. took 1 off

November 6, 2023 at 2:09 pm #27909No problem, had a quick look online and looks (not 100% guarantee) as thought the Siemens Lady 150 has a separate drain pump and a Heat Pump & Motor Assembly.
To test water heat pump, you could use a multimeter to test the ohms (Ω -resistance) across is connectors when dishwasher is unplugged.
