Fritz!Box 7583 UK Release Date:

So I contacted AVM – Fritz!Box Sales to ask if there Fritz!Box 7583 will ever be released in the UK, as it supports G.fast.

See below response from AVM sales, and does not look promising

Currently FRITZ!Box 7583 exists only in a German version,
with firmware and documentation in German language only.

Whether or when there is a release date of FRITZ!Box 7583
for the UK is not determined yet.

As an update, I believe English Language is a default Language option for the Fritz!Box 7583

– The Fritz!Box 7583 Firmware  FRITZ!OS 7.14 supports English Language

You can use it, full international support of language (see your list) and time zone, but you wont get correct connectors used in UK, so you have to “build” your own or reuse old one.

I had a look on Ebay (EU) and could not locate any, I wonder if they are being sold only to Service Providers or known under a different model name ?

Cables etc are always interesting with Fritz!Box, but easily found Rj11 to Rj45 or similar etc. and EU to UK power plug adaptor required.

Well spotted and an International version 7583 available in the UK, hope it is not yours ;-)

Edit: the above Ebay link also has the same item for sale in Deutschland with same seller ID, so be careful

NO, its an UK-seller, you can edit ebay-country by changing co.uk to de, at, fr, com or whatever you want to, but you will find everywhere else that he is shipping only to GB and item location is Leicester, GB.

You wont find (with search AVM 7583) this item in any other country except UK even if you choose worldwide item location. This is because he doesnt ship outside UK.

I see, I will put on my VPN  later and have another look,

Edit, set my VPN to Netherlands and as you correctly said, the Fritz!box 7583 did not appear on DU Ebay,
