HP TV+: HP Quietly Launches a Free Streaming App for Windows — But Not in the UK (Yet)
HP has rolled out HP TV+, a free, ad‑supported streaming service that’s suddenly appearing on Windows 10 and 11 PCs. It looks and feels like a lightweight Pluto TV clone: instant playback, no account needed, and a mix of live channels plus older on‑demand shows.
What It Offers
- Totally free with ads
- Live channels covering news, lifestyle, crime, sports, and more
- On‑demand movies and series (mostly older catalogue content)
- Works on any Windows 10/11 PC, not just HP laptops
The Catch
Right now, HP TV+ is only available in the United States. UK users can see the app listing, but the service itself won’t work unless HP expands regional support.
If you’re in the US, it’s a simple, no‑frills background‑TV app. For the UK, it’s a “wait and see” situation — the app exists, but the service isn’t live here yet.
