iPhone Facetime App Greyed Out

Seen that various iPhone models are having this issue with the iPhone Facetime App Greyed Out after updating 17.4 IOS.

Some owners have deleted the Facetime App and then re-installed and now the Icon says VIDEO instead of FACETIME.

Updating to IOS 17.6 seems to have fixed this problem for some owners and below thread on Apple discusses this problem also.
