Hi, considering getting a IPTV box and signing up to a legit IPTV streaming service (assuming I can verify they are legit), anyone here use a IPTV service at all? Any recommendations? Any iptv boxes you would recommend?

    Thanks

So you are getting rid of you dodgy firestick

We use Sky for most of a viewing pleasures but I have set -up a few over the years.

IS the Amazon FireStick (4K Max) with a remote something that you might consider as it will stream Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ and others ?

My daughter uses this in her student house and keeps them all entertained

Hi, I don’t have a firestick, never had one.  It’s a option, i’ve seen most iptv services support firestick, mag box and other types of boxes.

It seems most suggest in UK, need to use a VPN so need to have a look around and see what the best boxes are.  Had thought of the fire cube but bit pricey.

The MAG 524w3 does read well and have all the necessaries and does also support WiFi 5G which is a nice to have.

I suppose it is how much you are happy to spend as there is the Nvidia Shield, but this is expensive

Yes, i seen the Mag524w3.  Some mixed reviews, some say the Formuler boxes are the best, others seem to rate the Firesticks so hard to really tell.

Issue is I have an existing box (Mede8er) which i’m not sure if i’d keep or replace with the iptv box yet.  If i replace it, then i have a ethernet port so I can use that, if not then WIFI it will have to be.

Not sure i can use the mede8er box as apparently support for it and newer models have stopped being produced.

I had a quick look online and does seem as though support for the Mede8er is no longer available.

Chunky looking device it is .

Is the Dune HD RealBox 4K an option ? or to expensive …

Just look, it seems like the box has been discontinued and replaced with Dune HD Real Vision 4K Plus?

I was looking at formuler z11 pro max but i was on chat with a provider and they said it doesn’t play all channels? and recommended a H96max which I’ve never heard of.. but usure how good the box actually is, i’d of thought Formuler was ok as gets good reviews…

    Still checking out Dune…

everywhere seems to point the nvidia shield, not sure if worth get the the shield pro as only using it for IPTV, wont be doing gaming on it etc…

Only real advantage the pro has is 1 GB more ram and has 16gb storage with ability to extend storage and 2 x USB ports.

The shield tv only has 2GB ram and 8GB storage and unable to extend.

I’m leaning towards the pro as I’m thinking if streaming 4k content, the 3GB ram might be worth having? help buffer content maybe?

Might be worth a look on Ebay or similar for a used or reconditioned Nvidia shield, might save some money  ?

Yes, good idea, just working out what IPTV provider to try and then check if everything works ok on that device with them..

Going to contact a few and get a general consensus as I don’t want to buy it and it works fine with that provider, then i change and it doesn’t with someone else..

What do you think your IPTV provider options might include, any specific channels you are looking at ?
