So my Daughter’s Lenovo Yoga 520-141kb Laptop is available with a backlit keyboard, to enable the keyboard to be backlit…..

Press Fn+Spacebar buttons to turn on the Lenovo Laptop keyboard backlight.

Lenovo makes the “on” button for the keyboard backlight a tad tricky to find,  you have to press the Fn key + the Spacebar key to turn enable/disable the backlight.
