So my wife’s work laptop runs Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 and ever since it crashed last month, the Teams Icon has been missing from the Outlook calendar.
It has been amusing hearing the tails from my wife regarding IT support trying to fix this issues and seems they have re- installed Teams Add-In, re installed office and performed a few registry edits all to which within a few hours or the next day the Teams Add In icon disappears again.
So after having a little look online, I tried the below fix and yes 3 days later, Teams Icon remains in Outlook Calendar.
Try:
- In Outlook, go to File > Info
- then in ‘ Slow and Disabled COM add-ins’ the averidge delay was set to 0.59 seconds
- Chose the option to Always Enable this add-in and then re-start Outlook and Teams Icon should re appear
