So for ages every time I have had a drink of water from our water chiller, I have naturally used a Glass beaker as the plastic beakers seem to leave an odd taste afterwards.

Turns out this odd taste is actually due to our dishwasher and like most dishwashers, Plastic beakers manage to retain some of the dishwasher soap on its surface, hence the odd taste,

Glass on the other hand, does not have this problem, so for us, the water tastes better from a glass beaker.

Alas, still looking for a glass beaker that can will not break or a metal / aluminum drinking tumbler / beaker that is dishwasher friendly

Well we tried the Bino Water bottle which is made from glass and has a stylish rubber sleeve that seems to survive the dishwasher.

Taste of water is so much better using a glass bottle,  no more soap like tastes
