I noticed the other day with my Windows 11 settings, the “Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer” option is back on again.
I was running Windows 11 24H2, and had this disabled. After the latest update to 25H2, it’s back on again.

What Remote Assistance Actually Does
Remote Assistance is Microsoft’s built-in tool that lets a trusted person connect to your PC to help troubleshoot. It works like screen sharing with optional control, but only after you send an invitation and approve the connection. Your computer isn’t left listening for random incoming connections — the session can only start with your explicit permission.
From a security perspective, leaving Remote Assistance enabled isn’t always ideal and disabling “Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer” wont effect apps such as TEAMS as this Microsoft’s cloud services (Office 365/Azure). When you share your screen or give control, the traffic goes through Teams’ secure channels, not the old Remote Assistance service..
