Seems since Windows 11 23H2 you can now browse the contents of your phone in Windows Explorer.
Included with 24H2 is a new app, using the phone as a webcam for the PC, and start menu integration with your device.
I have not explored this myself but would be great option to virus scan a mobile device even though they maybe Linux kernel based and maybe pull images/photos direct from your mobile device.

September 22, 2024 at 8:54 am #34079Had a little look online and does seem possible at least with Android devices.
To enable this experience, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile Devices and choose “Manage devices” and allow your PC to access your Android phone. You’ll then be able to see a toggle to show your phone in File Explorer. If you do not see this toggle, that means the experience hasn’t yet rolled out to you yet.
