Here where I live in Austria WiFi-Calling is something different!
It is like an extension of VoLTE, the only difference is the radio access using any WLAN I can connect to instead of LTE or 5G.
The call goes straightly from local WiFi-network to a server of my provider and the call will be rated exactly same as when I would use GSM/UMTS or VoLTE.
