As a follow on, also maybe worth checking the Task Manager to see if the process ‘Windows Wireless LAN 802.11 Extensibility Framework’ (wlanext.exe) is using 30 – 50% CPU resources, as I recently found this was causing my Laptop fan to be working hard all the time.
