So I tested the new @GNUton 386.03_2-gnuton0_beta6 (GNUton has already updated from 5 to 6) and must say CAKE issues fixed for Ethernet connections (did not test wifi) 
Time for some series gaming tonight when I get home (just for testing purposes)
