Jumbo Frames in iSCSi network is very useful and can increase Ethernet LAN Network efficiency by up to 20%
Jumbo frames is not supported on Wireless as wifi only supports MTU of 2304 bytes.
The easiest (cheapest) way to test a LAN for Jumbo Frames support is via ping command with a stated payload packet size. (see below)

Regarding Using Jumbo Frames, if a device does not support Jumbo Frames (TV) , then the packet usually will be Fragmented adding addition load to NIC or Switch etc.
But this is a little more blurred, as such devices, may not work as well, at all, alas trial and error will be required.
