That is unfortunate, safer to wait until you return home and then upgrade to new stock release (ASUS ZenWiFi XT8 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.48706) and try again.
I have not seen any reports online regarding issues with IPv6 and ASUS router APP, so will be interesting if others have tried ASUS router APP recently etc.
