Thanks, Upon reading it worked in a mirror raid, I figured no reason it wouldn’t work in a raid 5 so ordered then. They arrived today, I’ve added them and also created new volume on nas. It’s currently doing parity check of the new volume so will leave that as it will take several hours so will look at moving data to it probably tomorrow evening or the weekend :) Basically setting up a new volume to hold backups of data I store locally on the PC as well as to re-locate some stuff from the 1st volume onto the 2nd volume to free up a bit more space on the first volume as its currently approx 75% full.
