To check if the ASUS router is allowing Clients (wired or wireless) to receive IPv6 addresses try the following:
From a Windows Client (PC-Laptop) go to CMD.exe (Windows Command Prompt) and type IPCONFIG, the resulting should be simular to below (I have partially hidden some of my IPv6 / IPv4 addresses) etc.
