I’ve noticed with this router that my ping times if I ping the local router IP are all over the place, veer between 1ms and 500ms.

I am using a wifi 6 network adapter, don’t have any other local wifi networks to compete on the same channel (although I have tried changing channel).

 

On the 5ghz band which has the issues (2.4ghz does not, pings 1ms consistently), I have manually set it to 80mhz width, disabled universal beamforming (ax beamforming and ofdma/ax mu-mimo are enabled but don’t make a difference to the latency issues if turned off)

Are there any other settings that might be giving me such latency issues on 5ghz?
