Yes, I’ve done normal support for a good number of years but would like to try and move into this area now.  My thinking is I’ve done the side where you build a machine and set it up etc and supported stuff in general, be nice to now move to effectively the backend side of things.

I thought I was doing well getting the server setup and building a VM, i thought would work for physical device but clearly not for some reason so need to figure out why that is some how.  Once i can get this to work, i can start to import drivers and get the TS to pick up different models and build with appropriate drivers etc after that’s done, I’ll be more confident apply for roles etc.  i realise prob get low money to start with but hopefully will be a team i can work/learn from and then progress either within that company or change jobs elsewhere for more money.
